The cocktail reception is still the favourite form of business and home entertaining. Our staff excel at serving your guests our tasty selections of hot & cold hors d’oeuvres. Our Chefs love the challenge of cooking or carving on site for your guests, entertaining them with their skill and food knowledge. Hors d’oeuvres can be presented for self service to your guests or passed on trays by our staff (butler service) or a combination of service for both. THEME FUNCTIONS

We specialize in catering to a theme for our clients and rise to the occasion with special menus, props, uniforms and whatever it takes to create or enhance a special event.

Your company is in the trenches! What do you do? Call up the “MASH” unit and we’ll nurse you back to health with our tasty food. Camouflage netting, tin plates and a tasty Shepherds pie dished out by our capable “Mash” staff!
No dress-up, just a fun themed menu, how about a taste of Mexico?

Planning a fundraiser with a theme, check out James Bond....
A special evening at the theatre, how about Italian!

DINNER RECEPTIONS

For starters, choose a selection of our tasty hot & cold hors d’oeuvres to be passed, butler style to your guests on arrival. For dinner, our chef tosses a Spinach salad with a light citrus dressing with orange sections and almonds. A light pasta starter with rotini and a sun-dried tomato pesto. For a main selection, the chef carves tender slices of peppered Beef Tenderloin, served with our trademark grilled vegetables (fennel, artichokes, corn, asparagus, zucchini and new potatoes). Select a spoonful of a pineapple chipolte salsa for your vegetables or a ladle of whiskey sauce for your beef. Finish with a light chocolate mousse or cheeses and port!

Full service dinners served to 6 or 600 or more in your home, office, community hall or tent. Sorrenti’s cater to all public facilities in Calgary and are the preferred caterers in many of Calgary’s finer facilities.
